What is Salactol Wart Paint?
Salactol Wart Paint is a treatment for warts, verrucas, corns and calluses.
Is Salactol Wart Paint right for me?
Peditech ActiFreeze Wart and Verruca Remover may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. There are no known reported common side effects of this product.
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Warnings
Peditech ActiFreeze Wart and Verruca Remover may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or:
If you have diabetes or circulatory problems
If the skin is irritated or inflamed
If you are unsure if it's a wart or verruca you are treating
On the face, neck, armpits or buttocks
On birthmarks, moles or beauty spots
Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using this product.
Age restrictions
This product is unsuitable for children under 4 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any new product.
Important information
Consult your doctor before use if you are taking any other medicines or if you have a health condition not mentioned in the patient information leaflet.
Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
May cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how your body reacts to this treatment.
Do not take more than one tablet in any 24 hours.
This medicine must not be taken by women.
