What is Preparation H Gel?

Preparation H Gel is a treatment for piles and haemorrhoids which helps to moisturise the affected area. It helps to soothe and relieve symptoms of itchy and dry skin caused by piles. It’s non-greasy and is quickly absorbed into the skin for fast results.

Is Preparation H Gel right for me?

When should Preparation H Gel not be used?
Preparation H Gel is not suitable for use by children under the age of 12. Do not use this product if you are allergic to witch hazel or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not swallow this gel, if you accidentally swallow this product seek medical advice. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Preparation H Gel if you are not sure whether your bleeding is being caused by piles, or you are suffering from excessive bleeding.

Are there any side effects?
Like all medications, Preparation H gel can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include symptoms of an allergic reaction. If you experience any side effects or irritation while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist right away.
