Can I use these eye drops if I’m wearing contact lenses?
Optrex Soothing Eye Drops are not suitable for use with contact lenses. If you’re suffering with itchy eyes caused by hay fever or allergy symptoms, ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend eye drops which can be used alongside your contacts to ease your symptoms.
How to use these eye drops to relieve itching caused by hay fever or allergies
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before using these eye drops. Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down your lower eyelid with one hand. Use the other hand to gently squeeze the bottle of Optrex Soothing Eye Drops and deposit 2 - 4 drops into your eye. Repeat the process in your other eye. Do this as often as needed to refresh your itchy, irritated eyes.
When should Optrex Soothing Eye Drops not be used?
Do not use Optrex Soothing Eye Drops if you are allergic to witch hazel or any of the other listed ingredients. These eye drops are not suitable for use in children under the age of 12. For use in the eyes only, do not swallow. If you experience any irritation while using this product stop use right away. If your irritation persists or is severe, see a doctor right away. If you’re using any other medications, including herbal remedy and medicines you obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
