What is Nu-Seals Cardio 75?
Nu-Seals Cardio 75 are tablets used to prevent reoccurring heart attacks or strokes.
Is Nu-Seals Cardio 75 right for me?
Like all medicines, Nu-Seals Cardio 75 may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include:
Nausea
Vomiting
Ringing in your ears
Pain or discomfort in your stomach or lower chest after eating
Liver problems with symptoms that may include yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (jaundice), dark yellow urine and fatigue
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
If you experience the following side effects, stop taking this medication immediately and seek medical advice:
Vomiting blood
Blood in your urine
Bruising with purple spots
Coughing up blood
Swelling of the skin
Black stools
Reduction in red blood cells, which can make the skin pale and cause weakness or breathlessness
Kidney stones (which can cause severe stomach or back pains)
Warnings
Nu-Seals Cardio 75 may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if:
You have ever had a problem with your blood not clotting properly, or you suffer from any bleeding problems
You have ever had a cerebral haemorrhage
You have ever had an ulcer in your stomach or small intestine
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if:
You think you may be dehydrated
You have trouble with your kidneys or liver
You have high blood pressure
You have been told you have a lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
You are asthmatic
You have ever had inflammatory bowel disease e.g. Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis
You have or have ever had gout
Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking these tablets.
You must tell your healthcare provider if you are taking the following medication:
Medicines to thin blood e.g. warfarin
Medication used to prevent organ rejection after a transplant e.g. ciclosporin or tacrolimus
Medication for high blood pressure e.g. diuretics and ACE inhibitors
Medicines to treat pain and inflammation e.g. ibuprofen and steroids
Medication to treat gout e.g. probenecid
Methotrexate (used for cancer and rheumatoid arthritis)
Metamixole (used to decrease pain and fever)
Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 16 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Do not take this product during pregnancy, unless you have been advised to do so by your doctor. If you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, aspirin can cause serious complications for the mother or baby. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Alcohol
Consuming excessive amounts of alcohol whilst taking these tablets may increase your risk of bleeding in your stomach or intestines.
