What is Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops?
Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops - 15ml is designed to relieve you from the symptoms associated with dry, irritated eyes.
Is Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops right for me?
Like all medicines, Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. You may experience increased pressure in your eye after applying the product.
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Warnings
Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have a bacterial, viral or fungal infection of the eye.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you have previously been treated for herpes simplex.
You must also speak to a healthcare professional if you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances.
Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using this product.
Some medications may increase the effects of Liquifilm Tears Eye Drops. Talk to your GP if you are taking medication for HIV such as ritonavir or cobicistat.
Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 2 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any new medicine.
Driving and operating machinery
This product may cause you to experience blurred vision. If you are affected, do not drive or operate machinery until you feel safe enough to do so.
