Product Overview

What is GoldenEye Eye Drops?

Goldeneye Eye Drops are a treatment for mild eye infections, such as conjunctivitis or blepharitis. Use these eye drops up to 4 times a day for a fast-acting treatment which will help to clear up your infection and irritation, so you can get back to normal.

Is GoldenEye Eye Drops right for me?

Can I use these eye drops if I wear contact lenses?
You should not wear contact lenses while you are using GoldenEye eye drops. If you wear hard contact lenses, you can start wearing them again after you’ve finished using these drops. If you wear soft contact lenses, then you should be aware that the benzalkonium chloride in these eye drops can discolour soft contact lenses. Wait for at least 24 hours after you finish using these drops before using your soft contact lenses again.

Can I drive after using these eye drops?
When you’ve used these eye drops, you may experience blurred vision for a short while. Do not attempt to drive or use tools or machinery unless you are sure that you are not affected in this way.

Can I use this product if I’m using another medication?
If you’re using any other medication, including those bought without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Goldeneye Eye Drops. This especially applies to other eye drops or eye ointments.

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
You should not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor right away.

When should this product not be used?
Do not use Goldeneye Eye Drops if you are allergic to propamidine isethionate or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not use this product if:

You have a painful eye, rather than an eye which just feels sore or gritty
You have pain or swelling around your eye or face

Your pupil looks different, e.g. torn, not round, very big, does not change size in the light

You have had laser eye surgery or laser treatment in the last 6 months

Mild reactions around the eye, e.g. stinging or burning, irritation or itching, inflammation of the skin, skin rash
Disturbed vision or your condition becomes worse
If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist right away. For more information about reporting the side effects of medication, please see the MHRA’s Yellow Card Scheme.
