What is Eurax Cream?
Eurax cream is used to relieve itching and skin irritation associated with a number of different symptoms such as:
Insect bites or stings
Nettle rash
Heat rash
Sunburn
Eczema or dermatitis
Chicken pox and scabies
Is Eurax Cream right for me?
Can I use this cream if I’m pregnant?
Eurax Cream should not be used if you are pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, you should only use this product if specifically recommended by a doctor. Do not use any medication without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
When should Eurax Cream not be used?
Eurax Cream is not suitable for use by children under the age of 3 unless specifically recommended by a doctor. Do not use this product if you are allergic to Crotamiton or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not use this cream in or around the eyes, on broken skin, inflamed skin, open wounds, or on weeping skin conditions. If you are suffering with genital itching, only use this product under the direction of your doctor.
Does Eurax Cream cause any side effects?
Like all medication, Eurax Cream can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include:
Itchy skin
Contact dermatitis
Rash
Eczema
Skin reddening
Skin irritation
Swelling of the arms, hands, legs, feet, face, tongue, mouth, throat, eyes, or neck, which may cause breathing difficulties
If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
