Effercitrate For Cystitis - 12 Effervescent Tablets are dissolvable tablets that are designed to relieve the symptoms of cystitis.

Warnings
Effercitrate For Cystitis - 12 Effervescent Tablets may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if:
You have high levels of potassium in your blood
You have kidney disease
You have heart disease
You have an irregular heartbeat
You have Addison's disease
You have dark or cloudy urine or you are dehydrated
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have high blood pressure.
Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
You must tell a healthcare professional if you are taking:
Other medications containing potassium
Medicines that make you retain potassium which make you pass water (water tablets/diuretics) e.g. amiloride and triamterene
Aldosterone antagonists e.g. spironolactone
Medicines that increase potassium levels e.g. ACE inhibitors, aliskiren, losartan, cyclosporine and tacrolimus
Nitrofurazone or methenamine
Aspirin
Medicines to help ease breathing e.g. salbutamol, ephedrine, phenylephrine
Stimulants e.g. amphetamines
Barbiturates e.g. phenobarbital
Certain antibiotics e.g. tetracycline
Digitalis for heart failure
Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 6 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Important information
Consult your doctor before use if you are taking any other medicines or if you have a health condition not mentioned in the patient information leaflet.

May cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how your body reacts to this treatment.
Do not take more than one tablet in any 24 hours.
