What is Cymex?

Cymex is a cold sore treatment cream which helps to relieve pain, itching and irritation caused by cold sores. Just apply a little Cymex cream every hour for a treatment that will help to ease your symptoms while keeping the infection from spreading.

Is Cymex right for me?

Do not use Cymex cream if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. As with all medications, a cold sore cream can have side effects, although these are rare and not everyone will experience them. These side effects include:

Inflammation
Redness
The ingredient cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions so use caution when using.
If you notice these or any other side effects while using Cymex, stop using this product and speak to your doctor or pharmacist. If you discover any side effect, then you can report it. For more information about recording side effects to medication, please see the MHRA’s Yellow Card website.
