What is Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules?
Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules are a treatment for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) that relieves spasms and cramps.
Is Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules right for me?
Like all medicines, Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects may include:
Heartburn
Acid reflux
Nausea
Vomiting
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Serious side effects
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Warnings
Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these capsules if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if:
This is the first time you are suffering with symptoms
You are aged 40 or above and it has been some time since your last IBS attack, or your symptoms have changed
You have passed blood from your bowel
You are vomiting or feeling nauseous
You have lost your appetite
You have unexplained weight loss
You are unusually pale or tired
You have severe constipation
You have a fever
You have recently travelled abroad
You have abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge
You have difficulty or pain when passing urine
Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before taking this product.
You must tell your healthcare provider if you are currently taking any indigestion remedies.
Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 15 years old.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.
Alcohol
You should avoid drinking alcohol when taking these capsules.
Important information
Consult your doctor before use if you are taking any other medicines or if you have a health condition not mentioned in the patient information leaflet.

May cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how your body reacts to this treatment.
Do not take more than one tablet in any 24 hours.
This medicine must not be taken by women.
