What is Acnecide 5%?

Acnecide 5% Gel Benzoyl Peroxide is a treatment designed to tackle acne.

Acnecide 5% Gel Benzoyl Peroxide contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. It works by attacking the bacteria that cause acne.

It helps to keep the skin clear, reducing the effects of acne and minimising the risk of blackheads and whiteheads appearing. It allows your skin to return back to its normal state.

Is Acnecide 5% right for me?

Acnecide 5% Gel may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Do not apply this product to broken skin.

Acnecide may bleach fabrics; keep it away from clothes, towels and bedding.

When using Acnecide, try to avoid exposure to sunlight. If you cannot avoid sunlight, use a suitable sunscreen and apply this product in the evening.

Using/taking other medicines
If you are taking or have recently taken any medication, including medication obtained without a prescription, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using this product.

Do not use Acnecide with other topical acne products.

Do not use any other products with drying, peeling or irritating side effects at the same time as using Acnecide.

Age restrictions
This product is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using any new product.
